Title Page 1:6 Which is to show unto the remnant of the house of Israel how great things the Lord hath done for their fathers, And that they may know the covenants of the Lord, that they are not cast off forever.
1 Nephi 1:2 And I know that the record which I make to be true, And I make it with mine own hand, And I make it according to my knowledge.
1 Nephi 1:18 Therefore, I would that ye should know that after the Lord had shown so many marvelous things unto my father Lehi, yea, concerning the destruction of Jerusalem, Behold, he went forth among the people and began to prophesy and to declare unto them concerning the things which he had both seen and heard.
1 Nephi 1:47 And it came to pass that I, Nephi, being exceeding young, nevertheless, being large in stature, And also having great desires to know of the mysteries of God,
1 Nephi 1:65 And it came to pass that I, Nephi, said unto my father: "I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, For I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men save He shall prepare a way for them, that they may accomplish the thing which He commandeth them."
1 Nephi 1:94 Know ye not that the Lord hath chosen him to be a ruler over you, and this because of your iniquities?

1 Nephi 2:7 And now I would that ye might know that after my father Lehi had made an end of prophesying concerning his seed, It came to pass that the Lord spake unto him again, saying that it was not meet for him, Lehi, that he should take his family into the wilderness alone, But that his sons should take daughters to wife, that they might raise up seed unto the Lord in the Land of Promise.
1 Nephi 2:19 And if it so be that we are faithful in Him, we shall obtain the Land of Promise; And ye shall know at some future period that the word of the Lord shall be fulfilled concerning the destruction of Jerusalem,
1 Nephi 2:99 Wherefore, the Lord hath commanded me to make these plates for a wise purpose in Him, which purpose I know not,

1 Nephi 5:50 "But behold, we know that he lieth unto us and he telleth us these things; And he worketh many things by his cunning arts, that he may deceive our eyes, thinking perhaps that he may lead us away into some strange wilderness;
1 Nephi 5:79 Wherefore, inasmuch as ye shall keep My commandments ye shall be led toward the Promised Land, And ye shall know that it is by Me that ye are led."
1 Nephi 5:80 Yea, and the Lord said also that, "After ye have arrived to the Promised Land ye shall know that I, the Lord, am God,
1 Nephi 5:98 "And we know that the people which were in the Land of Jerusalem were a righteous people,
1 Nephi 5:99 For they keep the statutes and the judgments of the Lord and all His commandments according to the law of Moses, Wherefore, we know that they are a righteous people;
1 Nephi 5:105 "Now ye know that the children of Israel were in bondage; And ye know that they were laden with tasks which were grievous to be borne;
1 Nephi 5:106 Wherefore, ye know that it must needs be a good thing for them that they should be brought out of bondage.

1 Nephi 5:108 And ye know that by his word the waters of the Red Sea were divided hither and thither and they passed through on dry ground.
1 Nephi 5:109 "But ye know that the Egyptians were drowned in the Red Sea, which were the armies of Pharaoh.
1 Nephi 5:110 "And ye also know that they were fed with manna in the wilderness.
1 Nephi 5:111 "Yea, and ye also know that Moses, by his word, according to the power of God which was in him, smote the rock and there came forth water that the children of Israel might quench their thirst.
1 Nephi 5:137 Nevertheless, ye know that they were led forth by His matchless power into the Land of Promise.
1 Nephi 5:139 And I know not but they are at this day about to be destroyed,
1 Nephi 5:140 For I know that the day must surely come that they must be destroyed, save a few only which shall be led away into captivity.
1 Nephi 5:148 "And ye also know that by the power of His almighty word He can cause the earth that it shall pass away;
1 Nephi 5:149 Yea, and ye know that by His word He can cause that rough places be made smooth and smooth places shall be broken up;
1 Nephi 5:163 And it came to pass that the Lord said unto me: "Stretch forth thine hand again unto thy brethren and they shall not wither before thee, but I will shock them, " saith the Lord; "And this will I do that they may know that I Am the Lord their God."
1 Nephi 5:165 And now they said: "We know of a surety that the Lord is with thee, for we know that it is the power of the Lord that hath shaken us."
1 Nephi 5:264 Wherefore, it must needs be that we know concerning them, for they are written upon the plates of brass.
1 Nephi 6:2 And it came to pass that I did read many things to them which were engraven upon the plates of brass, that they might know concerning the doings of the Lord in other lands among people of old;

1 Nephi 7:10 And whither they are, none of us knoweth, save that we know that they have been led away.
1 Nephi 7:21 "And I would, my brethren, that ye should know that all the kindreds of the earth cannot be blessed unless He shall make bare His arm in the eyes of the nations;
1 Nephi 7:25 And they shall know that the Lord is their Savior and their Redeemer, the Mighty One of Israel.

2 Nephi 5:55 "The Lord God hath given Me the tongue of the learned, That I should know how to speak a word in season unto thee, O house of Israel,
2 Nephi 5:61 Therefore, have I set My face like a flint, And I know that I shall not be ashamed. And the Lord is near and He justifieth Me;

2 Nephi 6:59 When they are learned, they think they are wise and they hearken not unto the counsel of God, For they set it aside, supposing they know of themselves;
2 Nephi 6:78 I know that the words of truth are hard against all uncleanness, but the righteous fear it not, for they love the truth and are not shaken.
2 Nephi 6:88 Wherefore, ye shall know at the last day, when all men shall be judged of their works, that the God of Israel did witness that I shook your iniquities from my soul, And that I stand with brightness before Him and am rid of your blood.
2 Nephi 6:93 But I know my guilt - I transgressed Thy law, and my transgressions are mine; And the devil hath obtained me, that I am a prey to his awful misery."
2 Nephi 7:8 For should the mighty miracles be wrought among other nations, they would repent and know that He be their God;
2 Nephi 8:89 That say, "Let Him make speed, Hasten His work, that we may see it; And let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw nigh and come, that we may know it."
2 Nephi 9:28 "Butter and honey shall He eat, that He may know to refuse the evil and to choose the good.
2 Nephi 9:29 For before the Child shall know to refuse the evil and choose the good, The land that thou abhorrest shall be forsaken of both her kings.
2 Nephi 9:69 And all the people shall know - Even Ephraim and the inhabitants of Samaria - That say in the pride and the stoutness of heart:
2 Nephi 11:2 For behold, Isaiah spake many things which were hard for many of my people to understand, For they know not concerning the manner of prophesying among the Jews,
2 Nephi 11:4 Wherefore, I write unto my people, unto all they that shall receive hereafter these things which I write, That they may know the judgments of God, that they come upon all nations according to the word which He hath spoken.
2 Nephi 11:8 Yea, and my soul delighteth in the words of Isaiah, For I came out from Jerusalem and mine eyes hath beheld the things of the Jews; And I know that the Jews do understand the things of the prophets, And there is none other people that understand the things of the prophets which were spoken unto the Jews, like unto them, Save it be that they are taught after the manner of the things of the Jews.
2 Nephi 11:9 But behold, I, Nephi, have not taught my children after the manner of the Jews; But behold, I, of myself, have dwelt at Jerusalem, wherefore, I know concerning the regions round about;
2 Nephi 11:11 But behold, I proceed with mine own prophecy, according to my plainness, in the which I know that no man can err.
2 Nephi 11:12 Nevertheless, in the days that the prophecies of Isaiah shall be fulfilled, men shall know of a surety at the times when they shall come to pass;
2 Nephi 11:14 For I know that they shall be of great worth unto them in the last days, for in that day shall they understand them; Wherefore, for their good have I written them.
2 Nephi 11:44 For we know that it is by grace that we are saved, after all that we can do.
2 Nephi 11:48 And we talk of Christ, We rejoice in Christ, We preach of Christ, We prophesy of Christ, And we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins.
2 Nephi 11:49 Wherefore, we speak concerning the law, that our children may know the deadness of the law;
2 Nephi 11:50 And they, by knowing the deadness of the law, may look forward unto that life which is in Christ and know for what end the law was given;
2 Nephi 11:74 And when these things shall have passed away, a speedy destruction cometh unto my people, For notwithstanding the pains of my soul, I have seen it; Wherefore, I know that it shall come to pass;
2 Nephi 11:151 "But behold, I will show unto them, " saith the Lord of Hosts, "that I know all their works;
2 Nephi 12:1 And now behold, my brethren, I have spoken unto you according as the Spirit hath constrained me; Wherefore, I know that they must surely come to pass;
2 Nephi 12:55 Know ye not that there are more nations than one?
2 Nephi 12:56 Know ye not that I, the Lord your God, have created all men? And that I remember they which are upon the isles of the sea? And that I rule in the heavens above and in the earth beneath?

2 Nephi 12:81 And then shall the remnant of our seed know concerning us - how that we came out from Jerusalem - And that they are a descendant of the Jews;
2 Nephi 12:83 And then shall they rejoice, For they shall know that it is a blessing unto them from the hand of God;
2 Nephi 13:2 And I cannot write but a few things which I know must surely come to pass, Neither can I write but a few of the words of my brother Jacob.
2 Nephi 13:8 And now I would ask of you, my beloved brethren, wherein the Lamb of God did fulfill all righteousness in being baptized by water - Know ye not that He was holy?
2 Nephi 13:16 Wherefore my beloved brethren, I know that if ye shall follow the Son with full purpose of heart, Acting no hypocrisy and no deception before God, but with real intent, repenting of your sins, Witnessing unto the Father that ye are willing to take upon you the name of Christ by baptism, Yea, by following your Lord and Savior down into the water according to His word, Behold, then shall ye receive the Holy Ghost;
2 Nephi 13:21 And now my beloved brethren, I know by this that unless a man shall endure to the end in following the example of the Son of the living God, he cannot be saved.
2 Nephi 13:23 For, for this cause have they been shown unto me: That ye might know the gate by which ye should enter.
2 Nephi 14:11 For if ye would hearken unto the Spirit which teacheth a man to pray, ye would know that ye must pray, For the evil spirit teacheth not a man to pray, but teacheth him that he must not pray.
2 Nephi 15:4 For I pray for them continually by day, And mine eyes water my pillow by night because of them; And I cry unto my God in faith and I know that He will hear my cry; And I know that the Lord God will consecrate my prayers for the gain of my people;
2 Nephi 15:14 And you and I shall stand face to face before His bar, And ye shall know that I have been commanded of Him to write these things, notwithstanding my weakness.
Jacob 2:3 And ye yourselves know that I have hitherto been diligent in the office of my calling; But I, this day, am weighed down with much more desire and anxiety for the welfare of your souls than I have hitherto been.
Jacob 2:5 But behold, hearken ye unto me and know that by the help of the all-powerful Creator of heaven and earth, I can tell you concerning your thoughts, How that ye are beginning to labor in sin, which sin appeareth very abominable unto me, yea, and abominable unto God.
Jacob 2:44 And now behold, my brethren, ye know that these commandments were given to our father Lehi; Wherefore, ye have known them before; And ye have come unto great condemnation, for ye have done these things which ye ought not to have done.
Jacob 3:1 Now behold, it came to pass that I, Jacob, having ministered much unto my people in word, And I cannot write but a little of my words because of the difficulty of engraving our words upon plates, And we know that the things which we write upon plates must remain,
Jacob 3:4 For, for this intent have we written these things: That they may know that we knew of Christ and we had a hope of His glory many hundred years before His coming, And not only we ourselves had a hope of His glory, but also all the holy prophets which were before us.
Jacob 3:8 Nevertheless, the Lord God showeth us our weakness, that we may know that it is by His grace and His great condescensions unto the children of men that we have power to do these things.
Jacob 3:15 For behold, ye yourselves know that He counseleth in wisdom and in justice and in great mercy over all His works;
Jacob 3:82 Nevertheless, I know that the roots are good and for Mine own purpose I have preserved them; And because of their much strength, they have hitherto brought forth from the wild branches good fruit,
Jacob 4:14 Know ye not that if ye will do these things, that the power of the redemption and the resurrection which is in Christ will bring you to stand with shame and awful guilt before the bar of God?
Jacob 5:9 And it came to pass that he came unto me and on this wise did he speak unto me, saying: "Brother Jacob, I have sought much opportunity that I might speak unto you, For I have heard and also know that thou goest about much, preaching that which ye call the gospel, or the doctrine of Christ;
Jacob 5:15 And he saith: "If there should be a Christ, I would not deny Him; But I know that there is no Christ, neither hath been, nor never will be."
Jacob 5:21 Wherefore, I know if there should be no atonement made, all mankind must be lost."
Jacob 5:22 And it came to pass that he saith unto me: "Show me a sign by this power of the Holy Ghost in the which ye know so much."
Enos 1:45 And I soon go to the place of my rest, which is with my Redeemer, for I know that in Him I shall rest;
Omni 1:2 Wherefore in my days, I would that ye should know that I fought much with the sword to preserve my people the Nephites from falling into the hands of their enemies, the Lamanites.
Omni 1:17 And I know of no revelation, save that which has been written, neither prophecy; Wherefore, that which is sufficient is written; And I make an end.
Words of Mormon 1:7 Yea, and I also know that as many things as have been prophesied concerning us down to this day have been fulfilled, And as many as go beyond this day must surely come to pass -

Mosiah 1:3 And he caused that they should be taught in all the language of his fathers, that thereby they might become men of understanding, And that they might know concerning the prophecies which had been spoken by the mouths of their fathers, which were delivered them by the hand of the Lord.
Mosiah 1:8 And we should have been like unto our brethren, the Lamanites, which know nothing concerning these things, Or even do not believe them when they are taught them, because of the traditions of their fathers which are not correct.
Mosiah 1:10 And behold, also the plates of Nephi which contain the records and the sayings of our fathers from the time they left Jerusalem until now - and they are true; And we can know of their surety because we have them before our eyes.
Mosiah 1:47 "Yet, my brethren, I have not done these things that I might boast, Neither do I tell these things that thereby I might accuse you; But I tell you these things that ye may know that I can answer a clear conscience before God this day.
Mosiah 3:1 And now it came to pass that when King Benjamin had thus spoken to his people, he sent among them desiring to know of his people if they believed the words which he had spoken unto them.
Mosiah 3:3 And also we know of their surety and truth because of the Spirit of the Lord Omnipotent which hath wrought a mighty change in us, or in our hearts, That we have no more disposition to do evil, but to do good continually.
Mosiah 3:12 "And it shall come to pass that whosoever doeth this shall be found at the right hand of God, For he shall know the name by which he is called, For he shall be called by the name of Christ.
Mosiah 3:16 "I say unto you, I would that ye should remember to retain the name written always in your hearts, that ye are not found on the left hand of God, But that ye hear and know the voice by which ye shall be called, and also the name by which He shall call you.
Mosiah 3:20 I say unto you, that even so shall it be among you if ye know not the name by which ye are called.
Mosiah 4:4 And also had appointed priests to teach the people, that thereby they might hear and know the commandments of God and to stir them up in remembrance of the oath which they had made, He dismissed the multitude; And they returned, everyone according to their families, to their own houses.
Mosiah 5:1 And now it came to pass that after King Mosiah had had continual peace for the space of three years, he was desirous to know concerning the people which went up to dwell in the Land of Lehi-Nephi, or in the City of Lehi-Nephi;
Mosiah 5:13 "And now, I desire to know the cause whereby ye were so bold as to come near the walls of the city when I, myself, was with my guards without the gate.
Mosiah 5:18 And now it came to pass that after Limhi had heard the words of Ammon, he was exceeding glad and said: "Now I know of a surety that my brethren which were in the Land of Zarahemla are yet alive;
Mosiah 5:58 Now as soon as Ammon had read the record, the king inquired of him to know if he could interpret languages;
Mosiah 5:71 Or, perhaps they will give us a knowledge of this very people which hath been destroyed; And I am desirous to know the cause of their destruction."
Mosiah 5:78 "But a seer can know of things which have passed, and also of things which are to come;
Mosiah 6:8 And it came to pass that I went again with four of my men into the city, in unto the king, that I might know of the disposition of the king, And that I might know if I might go in with my people and possess the land in peace.
Mosiah 7:34 'And it shall come to pass that they shall know that I Am the Lord their God and am a jealous God, visiting the iniquities of My people.
Mosiah 7:50 'And it shall come to pass that the life of King Noah shall be valued even as a garment in a hot furnace, for he shall know that I Am the Lord.
Mosiah 7:81 And now Abinadi saith unto them: "Are you priests and pretend to teach this people and to understand the spirit of prophesying, And yet desireth to know of me what these things mean?
Mosiah 7:94 And Abinadi saith unto them: "I know if ye keep the commandments of God, ye shall be saved;
Mosiah 9:14 And that ye may know of their surety, I have suffered myself that I have fallen into your hands,
Mosiah 11:59 And it came to pass that Alma and his people did not raise their voices to the Lord their God, but did pour out their hearts to Him; And He did know the thoughts of their hearts.
Mosiah 11:60 And it came to pass that the voice of the Lord came to them in their afflictions, saying: "Lift up your heads and be of good comfort, for I know of the covenant which ye have made unto Me; And I will covenant with this My people and deliver them out of bondage;
Mosiah 11:62 And this will I do that ye may stand as witnesses for Me hereafter, And that ye may know of a surety that I, the Lord God, do visit My people in their afflictions."
Mosiah 11:115 And it came to pass that Alma did not know concerning them, for there were many witnesses against them, Yea, the people stood and testified of their iniquity in abundance.
Mosiah 11:132 For behold, in My name are they called, And if they know Me, they shall come forth and shall have a place eternally at My right hand.
Mosiah 11:134 And then shall they know that I Am the Lord their God, that I Am their Redeemer, but they would not be redeemed;
Mosiah 11:184 And also that his limbs might receive their strength, That the eyes of the people might be opened to see and know of the goodness and glory of God.
Mosiah 11:189 "I say unto you, unless this be the case, they must be cast off; And this I know because I was like to be cast off.
Mosiah 12:17 And this he did because of the great anxiety of his people, for they were desirous beyond measure to know concerning those people which had been destroyed -
Mosiah 12:26 And this account shall be written hereafter; For behold, it is expedient that all people should know the things which are written in this account -
Mosiah 13:3 Now when Mosiah had done this, he sent out through all the land, among all the people, desiring to know their will concerning who should be their king.
Alma 1:77 And Alma sent spies to follow the remnant of the Amlicites, that he might know of their plans and their plots, Whereby he might guard himself against them, that he might preserve his people from being destroyed.
Alma 3:39 "I say unto you, ye will know at that day that ye cannot be saved, For there can no man be saved except his garments are washed white;
Alma 3:75 "And this is not all - Do ye suppose that I know not of these things myself?
Alma 3:76 Behold, I testify unto you that I do know that these things whereof I have spoken are true.

Alma 17:30 And ye had ought to know also that inasmuch as ye will not keep the commandments of God, ye shall be cut off from His presence; Now this is according to His word.
Alma 17:33 And behold, it hath been prophesied by our fathers that they should be kept and handed down from one generation to another and be kept and preserved by the hand of the Lord, Until they shall go forth unto every nation, kindred, tongue and people, that they shall know of the mysteries contained thereon.

Helaman 4:17 "O Lord, Thou didst hearken unto my words when I said, ' Let there be a famine that the pestilence of the sword might cease '; And I know that Thou wilt, even at this time, hearken unto my words, For Thou saidst that if this people repent, ' I will spare them.'

Ether 1:114 Remember, when ye see these things, ye shall know that the time is at hand that they shall be made manifest in very deed; Therefore, when ye shall receive this record, ye may know that the work of the Father has commenced upon all the face of the earth.
Ether 2:2 And behold, ye may be privileged that ye may show the plates unto those who shall assist to bring forth this work; And unto three shall they be shown by the power of God; Wherefore, they shall know of a surety that these things are true.
Ether 2:5 And now, if I have no authority for these things, judge ye, For ye shall know that I have authority when ye shall see me, And we shall stand before God at the last day. Amen.
Ether 3:21 And the brother of Jared began to be old and saw that he must soon go down to the grave, Wherefore, he saith unto Jared: "Let us gather together our people, that we may number them, That we may know of them what they will desire of us before we go down to our graves."

Moroni 4:2 And they administered it according to the commandments of Christ. Wherefore, we know that the manner to be true. And the elder or priest did minister it.
Moroni 7:4 And now my brethren, I judge these things of you because of your peaceable walk with the children of men; For I remember the word of God which saith: "By their works ye shall know them; For if their works be good, then they are good also."
Moroni 7:13 For behold, my brethren, it is given unto you to judge, that ye may know good from evil; And the way to judge is as plain, that ye may know with a perfect knowledge, as the daylight is from the dark night;
Moroni 7:14 For behold, the Spirit of Christ is given to every man, that they may know good from evil. Wherefore, I show unto you the way to judge: For everything which inviteth to do good and to persuade to believe in Christ is sent forth by the power and gift of Christ;
Moroni 7:15 Wherefore, ye may know with a perfect knowledge it is of God; But whatsoever thing persuadeth men to do evil and believe not in Christ and deny Him and serve not God, Then ye may know with a perfect knowledge it is of the devil;
Moroni 7:17 And now my brethren, seeing that ye know the light by which ye may judge, which light is the light of Christ, See that ye do not judge wrongfully; For with that same judgment which ye judge, ye shall also be judged;
Moroni 7:18 Wherefore, I beseech of you, brethren, that ye should search diligently in the light of Christ that ye may know good from evil; And if ye will lay hold upon every good thing and condemn it not, ye certainly will be a child of Christ.
Moroni 8:10 "And after this manner did the Holy Ghost manifest the word of God unto me; Wherefore, my beloved son, I know that it is solemn mockery before God that ye should baptize little children.
Moroni 8:19 For I know that God is not a partial God, neither a changeable Being, But He is unchangeable from all eternity to all eternity.
Moroni 9:1 "My beloved son, I write unto you again that ye may know that I am yet alive; But I write somewhat that which is grievous.
Moroni 9:24 For I know that they must perish, except they repent and return unto Him; And if they perish, it will be like unto the Jaredites, because of the willfulness of their hearts, seeking for blood and revenge;

Moroni 10:1 Now I, Moroni, write somewhat as seemeth me good; And I write unto my brethren the Lamanites, And I would that they should know that more than four hundred and twenty years have passed away since the sign was given of the coming of Christ;
Moroni 10:5 And if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, And He will manifest the truth of it unto you by the power of the Holy Ghost; And by the power of the Holy Ghost, ye may know the truth of all things;
Moroni 10:7 And ye may know that He is by the power of the Holy Ghost; Wherefore, I would exhort you that ye deny not the power of God; For He worketh by power according to the faith of the children of men, the same today and tomorrow and forever.
Moroni 10:22 And I exhort you to remember these things! For the time speedily cometh that ye shall know that I lie not, For ye shall see me at the bar of God, And the Lord God will say unto you: "Did I not declare My words unto you which were written by this man, like as one crying from the dead?
