1 Nephi 3:140 And the angel said unto me: "Behold the formation of a church which is most abominable above all other churches, Which slayeth the saints of God, yea, and tortureth them, and bindeth them down, and yoketh them with a yoke of iron, and bringeth them down into captivity."
1 Nephi 3:144 And also for the praise of the world do they destroy the saints of God and bring them down into captivity."
1 Nephi 3:227 Nevertheless, I beheld that the church of the Lamb, which were the saints of God, were also upon all the face of the earth,

Moroni 8:29 And the firstfruits of repentance is baptism, And baptism cometh by faith, unto the fulfilling the commandments, And the fulfilling the commandments bringeth remission of sins, And the remission of sins bringeth meekness and lowliness of heart, And because of meekness and lowliness of heart cometh the visitation of the Holy Ghost, Which Comforter filleth with hope and perfect love, Which love endureth by diligence unto prayer, until the end shall come when all the saints shall dwell with God.
