Revelation addressed to the elders of the church, given through Joseph Smith, Jr., at a special conference held at Hiram, Ohio, November 1831. There had been some criticism among the elders regarding the language of the revelations. William E. McLellin accepted the challenge of this revelation but was unable to produce any
improvement.
