Exodus 5:13 And the taskmasters hasted them, saying, Fulfill your works, your daily
tasks, as when there was straw.
1 Nephi 5:105 Now ye know that the children of Israel were in bondage; and ye know that they were laden with
tasks, which were grievous to be borne;
Mosiah 11:56 Yet he exercised authority over them, and put
tasks upon them, and put task-masters over them.
DC 135:4 The authorities of the church whose duty it is to appoint men to missionary
tasks should remember the previously given instructions to send out by twos; and so far as practicable let the missionaries be so sent. There is wisdom and safety in this.
