Mosiah 7:92 Doth salvation come by the Law of Moses? What say ye?

Mosiah 7:100 And now when the king had heard these words, he said unto his priests, Away with this fellow, and slay him: for what have we to do with him, for he is mad.

Mosiah 7:110 But this much I tell you: What you do with me, after this, shall be as a type and a shadow of things which are to come.

Mosiah 8:40 And now what say ye? And who shall be his seed?

Mosiah 9:41 Now I say unto you, If this be the desire of your hearts, what have you against being baptized in the name of the Lord, as a witness before him that ye have entered into a covenant with him that ye will serve him and keep his commandments, that he may pour out his Spirit more abundantly upon you?

Mosiah 9:101 And it came to pass that after they had ended the ceremony, that they returned to the land of Nephi, rejoicing, because their wives and their children were not slain; and they told Gideon what they had done to the king.

Mosiah 9:123 And Limhi said unto him, What cause have ye to come up to war against my people?

Mosiah 11:83 And now when Mosiah had made an end of reading the records, his people who tarried in the land were struck with wonder and amazement, for they knew not what to think;

Mosiah 11:106 They did not believe what had been said concerning the resurrection of the dead; neither did they believe concerning the coming of Christ.

Mosiah 11:120 And now the spirit of Alma was again troubled; and he went and inquired of the Lord what he should do concerning this matter, for he feared that he should do wrong in the sight of God.

Mosiah 11:182 And he caused that a multitude should be gathered together, that they might witness what the Lord had done for his son, and also for those that were with him.

Mosiah 13:10 And who knoweth but what my son, to whom the kingdom doth belong, should turn to be angry, and draw away a part of this people after him, which would cause wars and contentions among you; which would be the cause of shedding much blood, and perverting the way of the Lord; yea, and destroy the souls of many people.

Mosiah 13:22 For behold, how much iniquity doth one wicked king cause to be committed! yea, and what great destruction!

Mosiah 13:24 Behold what great destruction did come upon them; and also because of their iniquities, they were brought into bondage.

Alma 1:23 And there he was caused, or rather did acknowledge, between the heavens and the earth, that what he had taught to the people was contrary to the word of God; and there he suffered an ignominious death.

Alma 3:19 And now I ask of you on what conditions are they saved? Yea, what grounds had they to hope for salvation?

Alma 3:20 What is the cause of their being loosed from the bands of death? Yea, and also, the chains of hell?

Alma 3:42 Behold, what will these things testify against you?

Alma 3:64 And now if ye are not the sheep of the good shepherd, of what fold are ye?

Alma 3:101 And now my brethren, What have ye to say against this?

Alma 3:103 For what shepherd is there among you having many sheep, doth not watch over them, that the wolves enter not and devour his flock?

Alma 9:7 Now I would that ye should remember that what I say unto thee, I say unto all.

Alma 9:14 And he said unto Alma, What does this mean which Amulek hath spoken concerning the resurrection of the dead, that all shall rise from the dead, both the just and the unjust, and are brought to stand before God, to be judged according to their works?

Alma 9:21 Now this is what is meant by the chains of hell; and Amulek hath spoken plainly concerning death, and being raised from this mortality to a state of immortality, and being brought before the bar of God, to be judged according to our works.

Alma 9:34 But there was one Antionah, who was a chief ruler among them, came forth and said unto him, What is this that thou hast said, that man should rise from the dead and be changed from this mortal to an immortal state, that the soul can never die?

Alma 9:35 What does the scripture mean, which saith that God placed cherubims and a flaming sword on the east of the garden of Eden, lest our first parents should enter and partake of the fruit of the tree of life, and live for ever?

Alma 9:64 And those priests were ordained after the order of his Son, in a manner that thereby the people might know in what manner to look forward to his Son for redemption.

Alma 10:16 Now I need not rehearse the matter; what I have said, may suffice.

Alma 10:56 And he smote them with his hand upon their cheeks and said unto them, After what ye have seen, will ye preach again unto this people, that they shall be cast into a lake of fire and brimstone?

Alma 10:58 And the judge smote them upon their cheeks, and asked, What say ye for yourselves?

Alma 12:3 And what added more to his joy, they were still his brethren in the Lord; yea, and they had waxed strong in the knowledge of the truth;

Alma 12:85 Therefore Ammon turned himself unto the king, and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do for thee, O king!

Alma 12:86 And the king answered him not for the space of an hour, according to their time, for he knew not what he should say unto him.

Alma 12:87 And it came to pass that Ammon said unto him again, What desireth thou of me? But the king answered him not.

Alma 12:90 I say unto you, What is it, that thy marvelings are so great?

Alma 12:96 Thou mayest speak boldly, and tell me concerning these things; and also tell me by what power ye slew and smote off the arms of my brethren, that scattered my flocks.

Alma 12:99 Now Ammon being wise, yet harmless, he said unto Lamoni, Wilt thou hearken unto my words, if I tell thee by what power I do these things? And this is the thing that I desire of thee.

Alma 12:102 And he answered, and said unto him, I do not know what that meaneth.

Alma 12:128 And it came to pass that Ammon did as he was commanded, and went in unto the queen, and desired to know what she would that he should do.

Alma 12:132 Now this was what Ammon desired, for he knew that King Lamoni was under the power of God;

Alma 12:135 Yea, he knew that this had overcome his natural frame, and he was carried away in God; therefore, what the queen desired of him, was his only desire.

Alma 12:146 He fell upon his knees, and began to pour out his soul in prayer and thanksgiving to God, for what he had done for his brethren:

Alma 12:152 And supposing that this opportunity, by making known unto the people what had happened among them, that by beholding this scene, it would cause them to believe in the power of God,

Alma 12:163 And they began to marvel again among themselves what could be the cause of this great power, or what all these things could mean.

Alma 13:7 What is that thou hast testified? Hast thou seen an angel? Why do not angels appear unto us? Behold, are not this people as good as thy people? Thou also sayest, except we repent, we shall perish.

Alma 13:36 Now the king said unto them, What is this that ye have said concerning the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, this is the thing which doth trouble me.

Alma 13:37 And also, what is this that Ammon said: If ye will repent ye shall be saved, and if ye will not repent, ye shall be cast off at the last day?

Alma 13:48 And it came to pass that after Aaron had expounded these things unto him, the king said, What shall I do, that I may have this eternal life of which thou hast spoken?

Alma 13:49 Yea, what shall I do that I may be born of God, having this wicked spirit rooted out of my breast, and receive his Spirit, that I may be filled with joy, that I may not be cast off at the last day?

Alma 14:26 And from thence they came to the land of Ishmael, that they might hold a council with Lamoni, and also with his brother Anti-Nephi-Lehi, what they should do to defend themselves against the Lamanites.

Alma 14:54 And it came to pass that the people of God were joined that day by more than the number who had been slain; and those who had been slain were righteous people; therefore we have no reason to doubt but what they are saved.

Alma 14:69 For he said unto them, What ye shall do unto me, shall be a type of things to come.

Alma 14:70 And now Abinadi was the first that suffered death by fire, because of his belief in God: now this is what he meant, that many should suffer death by fire, according as he had suffered.

Alma 14:80 And now I ask, What great blessings has he bestowed upon us? Can ye tell?

Alma 14:102 And now behold, my brethren, what natural man is there, that knoweth these things? I say unto you, there is none that knoweth these things, save it be the penitent;

Alma 15:62 And behold, when I see many of my brethren truly penitent, and coming to the Lord their God, then is my soul filled with joy; then do I remember what the Lord has done for me; yea, even that he hath heard my prayer; yea, then do I remember his merciful arm which he extended towards me;

Alma 16:42 And now if we do not receive anything for our labors in the church, what doth it profit us to labor in the church, save it were to declare the truth, that we may have rejoicings in the joy of our brethren?

Alma 16:48 And now, what evidence have ye that there is no God, or that Christ cometh not? I say unto you that ye have none, save it be your word only.

Alma 16:73 Now the knowledge of what had happened unto Korihor, was immediately published throughout all the land; yea, the proclamation was sent forth by the chief judge, to all the people in the land, declaring unto those who had believed in the words of Korihor, that they must speedily repent, lest the same judgments would come unto them.

Alma 16:118 And after that, they did separate themselves one from another; taking no thought for themselves what they should eat, or what they should drink, or what they should put on.

Alma 16:125 And they came unto Alma; and the one who was the foremost among them, said unto him, Behold, what shall these my brethren do, for they are despised of all men, because of their poverty; yea, and more especially by our priests;

Alma 16:126 For they have cast us out of our synagogues, which we have labored abundantly to build, with our own hands; and they have cast us out because of our exceeding poverty, and we have no place to worship our God; and behold, what shall we do?

Alma 16:129 Behold thy brother hath said, What shall we do? for we are cast out of our synagogues, that we cannot worship our God.

Alma 16:147 And now, my beloved brethren, as ye have desired to know of me what ye shall do because ye are afflicted and cast out: now I do not desire that ye should suppose that I mean to judge you only according to that which is true;

Alma 16:174 Now after Alma had spoken these words, they sent forth unto him desiring to know whether they should believe in one God, that they might obtain this fruit of which he had spoken, or how they should plant the seed, or the word, of which he had spoken, which he said must be planted in their hearts; or in what manner they should begin to exercise their faith?

Alma 16:177 Do ye remember to have read what Zenos, the prophet of old, has said concerning prayer or worship?

Alma 16:186 Behold, if ye do, ye must believe what Zenos said; for behold, he said, Thou hast turned away thy judgments, because of thy Son.

Alma 16:202 Yea, I know that these things were taught unto you, bountifully, before your dissension from among us, and as ye have desired of my beloved brother, that he should make known unto you what ye should do, because of your afflictions; and he hath spoken somewhat unto you to prepare your minds; yea, and he hath exhorted you unto faith, and to patience;

Alma 17:18 And O, what joy, and what marvelous light I did behold; yea, my soul was filled with joy as exceeding as was my pain; yea, I say unto you, my son, that there could be nothing so exquisite and so bitter as were my pains.

Alma 17:40 And who knoweth but what they will be the means of bringing many thousands of them, yea, and also many thousands of our stiff-necked brethren, the Nephites, who are now hardening their hearts, in sins and iniquities, to the knowledge of their Redeemer.

Alma 19:1 And now my son, I have somewhat more to say unto thee than what I said unto thy brother: for behold, have ye not observed the steadiness of thy brother, his faithfulness, and his diligence in keeping the commandments of God.

Alma 19:4 Now this is what I have against thee; thou didst go on unto boasting in thy strength, and thy wisdom.

Alma 19:37 And now I would inquire what becometh of the souls of men, from this time of death, to the time appointed for the resurrection?

Alma 19:40 And now concerning this space of time. What becometh of the souls of men, is the thing which I have inquired diligently of the Lord to know; and this is the thing of which I do know.

Alma 19:51 Now we do not suppose that this first resurrection which is spoken of in this manner, can be the resurrection of the souls, and their consignation to happiness or misery. Ye can not suppose that this is what it meaneth.

Alma 19:103 And if there was no law given if men sinned, what could justice do, or mercy either: for they would have no claim upon the creature.

Alma 19:107 What, do ye suppose that mercy can rob justice? I say unto you, Nay; not one whit. If so, God would cease to be God.

Alma 21:8 But behold, I have somewhat to prophesy unto thee; but what I prophesy unto thee, ye shall not make known; yea, what I prophesy unto thee shall not be made known, even until the prophesy is fulfilled; therefore write the words which I shall say.

Alma 21:60 And now who knoweth but what the remnant of the seed of Joseph, which shall perish as his garment, are those who have dissented from us; yea, and even it shall be us, if we do not stand fast in the faith of Christ.

Alma 21:108 And it came to pass that Amalickiah commanded that his armies should march forth, and see what had happened to the king:

Alma 24:22 And in the commencement of the twenty and eighth year, Moroni and Teancum, and many of the chief captains, held a council of war, what they should do to cause the Lamanites to come out against them to battle;

Alma 25:28 And he said, Behold, I will not exchange prisoners with Ammoron, save he will withdraw his purpose, as I have stated in my epistle; for I will not grant unto him that he shall have any more power than what he hath got.

Alma 26:52 And now whether they were overtaken by Antipus, we knew not; but I said unto my men, Behold, we know not but they have halted for the purpose that we should come against them, that they might catch us in their snare; therefore what say ye, my sons, will ye go against them to battle?

Alma 26:161 Behold, we do not know but what ye are unsuccessful, and ye have drawn away the forces into that quarter of the land; if so, we do not desire to murmur.

Alma 27:36 But why should I say much concerning this matter, for we know not but what ye yourselves are seeking for authority? We know not but what ye are also traitors to your country?

Alma 28:24 And now, Moroni, I do joy in receiving your epistle; for I was somewhat worried concerning what we should do, whether it should be just in us to go against our brethren.

Alma 29:23 And when the night came, Moroni went forth in the darkness of the night, and came upon the top of the wall to spy out in what part of the city the Lamanites did camp with their army.

Helaman 2:15 And now I return again to mine account; therefore what I have spoken had passed after there had been great contentions, and disturbances, and wars, and dissensions among the people of Nephi.

Helaman 2:48 Yea, and did prophesy many things unto them concerning their iniquities, and what should come unto them if they did not repent of their sins.

Helaman 2:80 And it came to pass that Nephi and Lehi did preach unto the Lamanites with such great power and authority, for they had power and authority given unto them that they might speak; and they also had what they should speak given unto them;

Helaman 2:104 And they said unto the man, Behold, what doth all these thing mean? and who is it with whom these men do converse?

Helaman 2:106 And it came to pass that the Lamanites said unto him, What shall we do, that this cloud of darkness may be removed from overshadowing us?

Helaman 3:12 And it came to pass that there were certain men passing by, and saw Nephi as he was pouring out his soul unto God upon the tower, and they ran and told the people what they had seen, and the people came together in multitudes that they might know the cause of so great mourning for the wickedness of the people.

Helaman 3:98 And ye shall say unto him, Have ye murdered your brother? And he shall stand with fear, and wist not what to say.

3 Nephi 2:92 Nevertheless, they can not all be written in this book; yea, this book can not contain even a hundredth part of what was done among so many people, in the space of twenty and five years;

3 Nephi 5:10 And he was clothed in a white robe, and he came down and stood in the midst of them, and the eyes of the whole multitude were turned upon him, and they durst not open their mouths, even one to another, and wist not what it meant, for they thought it was an angel that had appeared unto them.

3 Nephi 5:95 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth;

3 Nephi 5:100 Be not ye therefore like unto them, for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of before ye ask him.

3 Nephi 6:3 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

3 Nephi 6:9 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

3 Nephi 6:14 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged; and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

3 Nephi 6:21 Or what man is there of you, who, if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?

3 Nephi 7:3 And it came to pass that when Jesus had said these words, he perceived that there were some among them who marveled, and wondered what he would concerning the Law of Moses; for they understood not the saying, that old things had passed away, and that all things had become new.

3 Nephi 8:8 My bowels are filled with mercy; for I perceive that ye desire that I should shew unto you what I have done unto your brethren at Jerusalem, for I see that your faith is sufficient, that I should heal you.

3 Nephi 8:65 For ye know not but what they will return and repent, and come unto me with full purpose of heart, and I shall heal them, and ye shall be the means of bringing salvation unto them.

3 Nephi 9:24 And it came to pass, that when Jesus had thus prayed unto the Father, he came unto his disciples, and behold, they did still continue, without ceasing, to pray unto him; and they did not multiply many words, for it was given unto them what they should pray, and they were filled with desire.

3 Nephi 11:16 Your words have been stout against me, saith the Lord. Yet ye say, What have we spoken against thee?

3 Nephi 11:17 Ye have said, It is vain to serve God, and what doth it profit that we have kept his ordinances, and that we have walked mournfully before the Lord of hosts?

3 Nephi 12:15 And Jesus again shewed himself unto them, for they were praying unto the Father, in his name; and Jesus came and stood in the midst of them, and said unto them, What will ye that I shall give unto you?

3 Nephi 13:5 Therefore what manner of men ought ye to be? Verily I say unto you, Even as I am. And now I go unto the Father.

3 Nephi 13:12 And it came to pass when Jesus had said these words, he spake unto his disciples, one by one, saying unto them, What is it that ye desire of me after that I am gone to the Father?

3 Nephi 13:15 And when he had spoken unto them, he turned himself unto the three, and said unto them, What will ye that I should do unto you, when I am gone unto the Father?

Mormon 4:25 Behold what the scripture says; Man shall not smite, neither shall he judge; for judgment is mine, saith the Lord; and vengeance is mine also, and I will repay.

Mormon 4:92 O then despise not, and wonder not, but hearken unto the words of the Lord, and ask the Father in the name of Jesus for what things soever ye shall stand in need.

Ether 1:55 And the Lord said unto the Brother of Jared, What will ye that I should do that ye may have light in your vessels?

Ether 1:59 Therefore what will ye that I should prepare for you, that ye may have light when ye are swallowed up in the depths of the sea?

Ether 3:21 And the Brother of Jared began to be old, and saw that he must soon go down to the grave; wherefore he said unto Jared, Let us gather together our people that we may number them, that we may know of them what they will desire of us before we go down to our graves.

Ether 4:44 And it came to pass that Shez did remember the destruction of his fathers, and he did build up a righteous kingdom, for he remembered what the Lord had done in bringing Jared and his brother across the deep; and he did walk in the ways of the Lord, and he begat sons and daughters.

Moroni 7:46 How is it that ye can attain unto faith, save ye shall have hope? And what is it that ye shall hope for?

Moroni 8:18 Behold, I speak with boldness, having authority from God; and I fear not what man can do; for perfect love casteth out all fear; and I am filled with charity, which is everlasting love; wherefore all children are alike unto me; wherefore I love little children with a perfect love; and they are all alike, and partakers of salvation.

DC 1:2b wherefore fear and tremble, O ye people, for what I the Lord have decreed, in them, shall be fulfilled.

DC 1:8a What I, the Lord, have spoken I have spoken, and I excuse not myself;

DC 3:6e but, behold, here is wisdom, and because I show unto you wisdom, and give you commandments concerning these things, what you shall do, show it not unto the world until you have accomplished the work of translation.

DC 6:6a Verily, verily I say unto thee, Blessed art thou for what thou hast done, for thou hast inquired of me, and, behold, as often as thou hast inquired, thou hast received instruction of my Spirit.

DC 6:11b What greater witness can you have than from God?

DC 7:1a And the Lord said unto me, John, my beloved, what desirest thou? For if ye shall ask what you will, it shall be granted unto you.

DC 7:2a And for this cause the Lord said unto Peter, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? For he desiredst of me that he might bring souls unto me; but thou desiredst that thou might speedily come unto me in my kingdom.

DC 7:2b I say unto thee, Peter, this was a good desire, but my beloved has desired that he might do more, or a greater work yet among men, than what he has before done; yea, he has undertaken a greater work;

DC 22:20 And it came to pass, that Moses called upon God, saying, Tell me, I pray thee, why these things are so, and by what thou madest them? And behold the glory of God was upon Moses, so that Moses stood in the presence of God, and he talked with him face to face.

DC 23:3a And thou shalt continue in calling upon God in my name, and writing the things which shall be given thee by the Comforter, and expounding all scriptures unto the church, and it shall be given thee, in the very moment, what thou shalt speak and write;

DC 23:7c And thou shalt take no purse, nor scrip, neither staves, neither two coats, for the church shall give unto thee in the very hour what thou needest for food, and for raiment and for shoes, and for money, and for scrip; for thou art called to prune my vineyard with a mighty pruning, yea, even for the last time.

DC 25:1a Behold, I say unto you, that you shall let your time be devoted to the studying of the Scriptures, and to preaching, and to confirming the church at Colesville; and to performing your labors on the land, such as is required, until after you shall go to the west, to hold the next conference; and then it shall be made known what you shall do.

DC 26:1b For, behold, I say unto you, that it mattereth not what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, when ye partake of the sacrament, if it so be that ye do it with an eye single to my glory;

DC 27:4a Thou shalt not leave this place until after the conference, and my servant Joseph shall be appointed to preside over the conference by the voice of it, and what he saith to thee thou shalt tell.

DC 27:5b And it shall be given thee from the time thou shalt go, until the time thou shalt return, what thou shalt do.

DC 29:3c And your whole labor shall be in Zion, with all your soul, from henceforth; yea, you shall ever open your mouth in my cause, not fearing what man can do, for I am with you. Amen.

DC 30:4b Go your way whithersoever I will, and it shall be given you by the Comforter what you shall do, and whither you shall go.

DC 33:1a My son Orson, hearken and hear and behold what I, the Lord God, shall say unto you, even Jesus Christ your Redeemer, the light and the life of the world; a light which shineth in darkness and the darkness comprehendeth it not;

DC 38:5b Wherefore, hear my voice and follow me, and you shall be a free people, and ye shall have no laws but my laws, when I come, for I am your lawgiver, and what can stay my hand?

DC 38:5d And again I say unto you, Let every man esteem his brother as himself: for what man among you having twelve sons, and is no respecter to them, and they serve him obediently, and he saith unto the one, Be thou clothed in robes and sit thou here; and to the other, Be thou clothed in rags and sit thou there, and looketh upon his sons and saith, I am just.

DC 38:7c and there you shall be endowed with power from on high, and from thence, whosoever I will, shall go forth among all nations, and it shall be told them what they shall do;

DC 43:5e Prepare yourselves for the great day of the Lord: for if I, who am a man, do lift up my voice and call upon you to repent, and ye hate me, what will ye say when the day cometh when the thunders shall utter their voices from the ends of the earth, speaking to the ears of all that live, saying:

DC 45:9a And then shall the Jews look upon me and say, What are these wounds in thy hands, and in thy feet?

DC 46:4a Wherefore, beware, lest ye are deceived, and that ye may not be deceived, seek ye earnestly the best gifts, always remembering for what they are given;

DC 46:5a And again, verily I say unto you, I would that ye should always remember, and always retain in your minds what those gifts are, that are given unto the church, for all have not every gift given unto them;

DC 50:4b now when a man reasoneth, he is understood of man, because he reasoneth as a man; even so will I, the Lord, reason with you that you may understand: wherefore I, the Lord, asketh you this question, Unto what were ye ordained?

DC 50:6f but know this, it shall be given you what you shall ask, and as ye are appointed to the head, the spirits shall be subject unto you.

DC 52:1b I, the Lord, will make known unto you what I will that ye shall do from this time until the next Conference, which shall be held in Missouri, upon the land which I will consecrate unto my people, which are a remnant of Jacob, and those who are heirs according to the covenant.

DC 52:2b And inasmuch as they are faithful unto me, it shall be made known unto them what they shall do; and it shall also, inasmuch as they are faithful, be made known unto them the land of your inheritance.

DC 54:Intro SECTION 54 Revelation given through Joseph Smith, Jr., at Kirtland, Ohio, in June 1831. It is addressed to Newel Knight, who was president of the Colesville, New York, branch of the church whose members had recently settled at Thompson, Ohio, in the vicinity of Kirtland. Some of the brethren previously settled at Thompson had broken an agreement to share their land with the Colesville Saints, and this caused resentment and confusion. The revelation enabled Elder Knight to unite the faithful and to lead them to Missouri in a body. They arrived in what is now Kansas City late in July 1831.

DC 58:1a Hearken, O ye elders of my church, and give ear to my word, and learn of me what I will concerning you, and also concerning this land unto which I have sent you;

DC 60:2b and in the day when I shall make up my jewels, all men shall know what it is that bespeaketh the power of God.

DC 61:3d And now I give unto you a commandment, and what I say unto one I say unto all, that you shall forewarn your brethren concerning these waters, that they come not in journeying upon them, lest their faith fail, and they are caught in her snares;

DC 61:6c And now verily I say unto you, and what I say unto one I say unto all, Be of good cheer, little children, for I am in your midst, and I have not forsaken you, and inasmuch as you have humbled yourselves before me, the blessings of the kingdom are yours.

DC 66:2b And now verily I, the Lord, will show unto you what I will concerning you, or what is my will concerning you; behold, verily I say unto you, that it is my will that you should proclaim my gospel from land to land, and from city to city; yea, in those regions round about where it has not been proclaimed.

DC 70:3a Behold, this is what the Lord requires of every man in his stewardship, even as I, the Lord, have appointed, or shall hereafter appoint unto any man.

DC 74:3d but little children are holy, being sanctified through the atonement of Jesus Christ; and this is what the Scriptures mean.

DC 75:Intro SECTION 75 A conference was held at Amherst, Lorain County, Ohio, January 25, 1832. Some of the elders asked Joseph to "inquire of the Lord that they might know his will, or learn what would be most pleasing to him for them to do, in order to bring men to a sense of their condition." Joseph made inquiry of the Lord and received the following message. The conference is also noteworthy because here Joseph Smith was ordained President of the High Priesthood.

DC 81:1e therefore, what I say unto one I say unto all, Watch, for the adversary spreadeth his dominions and darkness reigneth; and the anger of God kindleth against the inhabitants of the earth; and none doeth good, for all have gone out of the way.

DC 81:3b I, the Lord, am bound when ye do what I say, but when ye do not what I say, ye have no promise.

DC 85:7 For what doth it profit a man if a gift is bestowed upon him, and he receive not the gift? Behold, he rejoices not in that which is given unto him, neither rejoices in him who is the giver of the gift.

DC 85:12b Unto what shall I liken these kingdoms, that ye may understand?

DC 89:1 Verily, thus saith the Lord, I give unto the united order, organized agreeable to the commandment previously given, a revelation and commandment concerning my servant Shederlaomach, that ye shall receive him into the order. What I say unto one I say unto all.

DC 90:3b I give unto you these sayings that you may understand and know how to worship, and know what you worship, that you may come unto the Father in my name, and in due time receive of his fullness,

DC 90:8d What I say unto one I say unto all: Pray always, lest that wicked one have power in you, and remove you out of your place.

DC 97:1d therefore, verily I say unto you, Lift up your voices unto this people; speak the thoughts that I shall put into your hearts, and ye shall not be confounded before men; for it shall be given you in the very hour, yea, in the very moment, what ye shall say.

DC 98:6e And while they were yet laying the foundation thereof, they began to say among themselves, And what need hath my lord of this tower? and consulted for a long time, saying among themselves, What need hath my lord of this tower, seeing this is a time of peace?

DC 98:7a Now, behold, the nobleman, the lord of the vineyard, called upon his servants, and said unto them, Why! what is the cause of this great evil? ought ye not to have done even as I commanded you? and after ye had planted the vineyard, and built the hedge round about, and set watchmen upon the walls thereof,

DC 98:11a Now, unto what shall I liken the children of Zion?

DC 98:12d What I have said unto you, must needs be, that all men may be left without excuse; that wise men and rulers may hear and know that which they have never considered;

DC 105:6a Now, I say unto you,--and what I say unto you I say unto all the Twelve,--Arise and gird up your loins, take up your cross, follow me, and feed my sheep.

DC 107:1d Let it be written in the spirit of meekness, and by the power of the Holy Ghost, which shall be in you at the time of the writing of the same; for it shall be given you by the Holy Ghost to know my will concerning those kings and authorities, even what shall befall them in a time to come.

DC 107:30a Let my servant William Law also receive the keys by which he may ask and receive blessings; let him be humble before me, and be without guile, and he shall receive of my Spirit, even the Comforter, which shall manifest unto him the truth of all things, and shall give him, in the very hour, what he shall say, and these signs shall follow him:

DC 107:30b He shall heal the sick, he shall cast out devils, and shall be delivered from those who would administer unto him deadly poison, and he shall be led in paths where the poisonous serpent can not lay hold upon his heel, and he shall mount up in the imagination of his thoughts as upon eagle's wings; and what if I will that he should raise the dead, let him not withhold his voice.

DC 109:2b and for what cause it seems mysterious, unless I was ordained from before the foundation of the world, for some good end, or bad, as you may choose to call it. Judge ye for yourselves. God knoweth all these things, whether it be good or bad.

DC 109:2c But nevertheless, deep water is what I am wont to swim in; it all has become a second nature to me.

DC 110:16 And now in relation to the baptism for the dead, I will give you another quotation of Paul. I Corinthians 15:29. "Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?"

DC 110:18b It is sufficient to know in this case that the earth will be smitten with a curse, unless there is a welding link of some kind or other, between the fathers and the children, upon some subject or other, and, behold, what is that subject?

DC 110:19a Now, what do we hear in the gospel which we have received?

DC 123:24b but that whatever duty the Twelve might have felt rested upon them in "looking after the disbursements of the moneys in the treasury, or the management of the properties of the church," more than what is set forth in the agreement between the Twelve and the Bishopric, as effected in April, 1878, and reaffirmed in April, 1888, or indicated in the revelation of April, 1894, "they are now absolved from, the end designed by it having been reached." REQUEST FOR ARTICLES FOR PUBLICATION

DC 125:13b Send the Bishop to England with my servant Gomer T. Griffiths, to aid in arranging the affairs of the church there, organizing the ministry locally and determining what help in the missionary field may be required from America.

DC 125:16c They are sent out as ministers to preach the gospel, and their voices if opposed to what may be presented to the conference should be heard in the conferences, and not in the mission fields, to prevent the accomplishment of the object with which the officers of the church have been intrusted.

DC 126:6 I then asked what was meant by the choosing of members for the presidency so young in years. DC 126:12 After much thought and pondering upon what I had seen as related above, together with the information contained in the answers to my inquiries, I did not see my way clear to present the matters therein contained in yesterday's session until the church had by its votes sustained the officers of the quorums referred to.

I have hitherto made supplication to the God whom we serve and renewed my supplication in the spirit of the desire of the church, for instruction and light, and I am now prepared to lay before the church what has come to me as the presiding officer, through whom the Master may speak to his people.

DC 130:8b as it tends to destroy confidence and create distrust not only in those present at councils where they occur, but to those to whom the knowledge of such a course of procedure comes by the voice of those who are present and witness what is said and done.
