3 Nephi 13:43 ….all people must surely stand before the judgment seat of Christ;

Does the Bible teach "Judged by Works?"

2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that everyone may receive a reward of the deeds done in the body; things according to what he hath done, whether good or bad.

Revelation 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Revelation 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them; and they were judged every man according to their works.

 

2 Nephi 12:29 they are grasped with death and hell; and death, and hell, and the devil, and all that have been seized therewith, must stand before the throne of God and be judged according to their works, from whence they must go into the place prepared for them, even a lake of fire and brimstone, which is endless torment.

 

Matthew 12:31 And again I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

 

1 Peter 1:17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear;

 

Matthew 7:31 For the day soon cometh, that men shall come before me to judgment, to be judged according to their works. (Inspired version)

What will we by Judged by?(Judged according to the Word)

John 12:47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not; for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.

John 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him; the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

Mosiah 1:126 Whereof, they shall be judged, every man, according to his works, whether they be good, or whether they be evil;

 

1 Nephi 4:52 For the day should come that they must be judged of their works, yea, even the works which were done by the temporal body in their days of probation;

1 Nephi 4:54 Wherefore, they must be brought to stand before God to be judged of their works:

What types of things will we confess at the last day?

Mosiah 2:48And finally, I can not tell you all the things whereby ye may commit sin:for there are divers ways and means, even so many, that I can not number them.

Who will condemn us? (Ourselves)

John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men love darkness rather than light, because their deeds are evil.

John 3:20 For every one who doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

John 3:21 But he who loveth truth, cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest.

 

Jude 1:15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

Mosiah 8:83 Even this mortal shall put on immortality, and this corruption shall put on incorruption, and shall be brought to stand before the bar of God, to be judged of him according to their works, whether they be good or whether they be evil.

Mosiah 1:83 Therefore, if that man repenteth not, and remaineth and dieth an enemy to God, the demands of divine justice doth awaken his immortal soul to a lively sense of his own guilt

Who will judge us?

1 Nephi 3:115 And he said unto me, Thou remembereth the twelve apostles of the Lamb? Behold they are they who shall judge the twelve tribes of Israel:

1 Nephi 3:116 Wherefore, the twelve ministers of thy seed shall be judged of them; for ye are of the house of Israel; and these twelve ministers whom thou beholdest, shall judge thy seed.

Mormon 1:83 Yea, behold, I write unto all the ends of the earth; yea, unto you, twelve tribes of Israel, who shall be judged according to your works, by the twelve whom Jesus chose to be his disciples in the land of Jerusalem.

Revelation 4:4 And in the midst of the throne were four and twenty seats; and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment, and they had on their heads crowns like gold. Why Was Christ Lifted up on the Cross?

Mosiah 1:106 And behold, all these things are done, that a righteous judgement might come upon the children of men.

3 Nephi 12:27 That as I have been lifted up by men, even so should men be lifted up by the Father, to stand before me, to be judged of their works, whether they be good or whether they be evil;

3 Nephi 12:28 And for this cause have I been lifted up; therefore, according to the power of the Father, I will draw all men unto me, that they may be judged according to their works.

 

Alma 19:79 Yea, ye shall have mercy restored unto you again; ye shall have justice restored unto you again; ye shall have a righteous judgment restored unto you again;

How will we be Judged?

2 Nephi 9:119 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.

Other considerations:

Alma 27:29 And behold, it is to your condemnation; for the Lord suffereth the righteous to be slain, that his justice and judgment may come upon the wicked; therefore ye need not suppose that the righteous are lost because they are slain; but behold, they do enter into the rest of the Lord their God.
